I don't know why Kitetsu is being so arguable today. Curse or no curse, she's being a problem child again and I have the cuts to prove she's been acting up. Maybe it's the lack of excitement, maybe she craves the sea just as much as I do. Well, patience is a virtue and she'll just have to wait. We had a taste of the City's shores and while that was nothing in comparison to home, it'll have to hold on until the time arises, though I can't deny I'm aching to return to the battle field. Call it ambition or whatever, but it's there. I have a dream to fulfill and I can't let these barriers stop me, no matter how strong they are.

I'll need to get a cleaner to the apartment today or tomorrow. I can't get the blood out of the carpet and I'd rather have Zell's bathroom cleaned. While I don't mind the smell of blood, I'm sure others do and I owe my room mate more than he knows. So, if any of you have experience cleaning blood out of things, I'm willing to pay buy the hour.

It's an idea and something I'm truly considering once I'm really nestled in here.

But for now, I'm going to find a nice quiet place to nap and practice some techniques. If there's an emergency, I'll be somewhere on the beach. Rain'll cool me down anyway.

Went to the beach this morning and found myself a lobster. Whacked it over the head with hilt of Shuusui, killing it pretty much instantly. It has a weird color though, but whatever. I had a baker in town make it into a cake for today.



I'm not going to try it and I'm not praying to any god, so whoever wants it can have it. I'll be on the roof sleeping the rest of the day. Maybe I'll go to the pub later or something.

Fell asleep on the bus back from work. Didn't get in until this morning. And I didn't get lost, god damnit. I found one of the kittens in my boot this morning when I woke up. Had it's ass-end sticking out of the top - I got it out though and he's fine. He fell asleep next to my katana bundle while I was trying to cook up eggs this morning.

Oh, speaking of which, don't ask where the pan went. Just don't. It's gone and I have to get us a new one.

Little sore from yesterday. My room mate packs a hell of a punch; reminds me of the love-cook and his kicks. I'll have to go out with him for often.
